Victory Rolls Tutorial with VVTV!

Ever since I started doing Victory Rolls a few years ago, I’ve had ladies asking me to do a tutorial ever since!

VVTV asked me to do a tutorial for them and so at the start of the year, I filmed it and sent it off to Talia to be edited and made pretty!

Victory Rolls are really easy but such a striking and effective look.

So without further ado… I give you Victory Rolls!

  1. I think I’m posting this in the right place :-/ I love victory rolls but I have super thick long hair that goes about 4-5 inches past my shoulders.I really struggle with fitting all the length of my hair into the victory roll and end up with bits poking out.Not because of the thickness bu because of the length of my hair. Any tips and advice or is it a matter of cutting some of my locks off?I also struggle with suicide rolls for the same reason.Any advice is massively appreciated! Thank you.

    • Hi Rachel, vintage updo’s are definitely not as easier on long hair as all the women in the 40s and 50s typically had shorter hair. Make sure you’ve set you hair first so that the ends are nicely curled and then try working some pomade like Suavecita to help smooth everything and avoid random pieces flying out x
