Today is a SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUSLY exciting day for me! The latest issue of Glory Days Magazine is out! This issue is Hollywood themed and features me on the cover. I have been looking forward to this for MONTHS and been bursting to share my excitement! So here it is, the beautiful cover designed by Glory Days designer Nathalie Gregory, photo by Miss T Pinups. We took this photo at Hotel DeBrett the day after I won Miss Pinup New Zealand in April so it’s been a longtime coming… but totally worth the wait!
Lights! Camera! Action! The new issue of Glory Days magazine is dedicated to the Golden Age of Hollywood. Cover girl and rising Instagram star Miss Victory Violet talks to Natasha Francois about winning Miss Pinup New Zealand, modelling and how she conquered her body image demons; Nina Nuku interviews New Zealand gossip doyen David Hartnell about hanging out with Joan Collins, Lauren Bacall, Betty White and Edith Head and Clarissa Dunn chats to Jennifer Ward Lealandabout falling in love again with Marlene Dietrich. Elsewhere in this issue, Leimomi Oakes profiles the costume designers who created the look which has become synoymous with Hollywood glamour, Te Papa’s Claire Regnault charts the history of paper dolls and we present our Hollywood fashion shoot with a twist. It’s all in new look edition of Glory Days on sale now.
As if being on the cover wasn’t awesome enough, I am very happy to announce that from the next issue, I will be the official Glory Days Beauty Editor! I am so excited to bring some fabulous new material to the readers and already have great plans for the beauty section.
The Hollywood Issue is the best one yet and in case you haven’t already heard, Glory Days have teamed up with Antipodes and have a incredible offer for all new subscribers! When you subscribe before April, you’ll also receive 3 Antipodes Lipsticks. What a deal for just a $52 subscription fee. If you still need convincing, I posted a full review on them last week.
