It’s quickly become one of my go-to hairstyles for a 1940s look OR just when I’m feeling a little lazy! Using side combs (or bobby pins if you like) to pin back the sides with a bit of a more subtle victory roll feel.
My latest tutorial demonstrates exactly how I do it so have a watch, give it a try and let me know what you think!

You are Lifesaver!Thank you so much❤!
Such a cute hairdo! Thank you so much for the step-by-step, I feel like I could try this look.
Thank you for sharing this hair style. Although it’s simple, it looks really pretty and is a real timesaver in the mornings for work! Xx
I have used combs in my hair for over 40 years. I have noticed that the combs in the local stores are not made as well. They tend to have too sharp of edges in the teeth that cut my hair when I insert them. I am constantly on the search for vintage ones that were made in the USA, they seem to have rounded edges. I was fortunate to find some in Italy on one of my trips there.
Where do you get your combs? Do you find the newer ones are hard on the hair?
Thank you for the videos.
