Get ready to be transported to a beautiful Tuscan landscape in the heart of Italy…
Actually, it’s just little ole’ Hamilton in New Zealand, approximately 18,000km away from Tuscany!
We decided to road trip down to the Hamilton Gardens to utilize the beautiful themed spaces, and boy-oh-boy was it worth it! Don’t these just look like I’m right bang in the middle of Italy? It’s pretty magical!
I’m going to be blogging 4 different styles in the Vintage Rose print and thought I’d start with an old favourite – the Tilly Prom Dress! The Tilly has a glamourous and dramatic off the shoulder neckline, big bows on the shoulders, full skirt with pleats, full lining, pockets and in-built petticoat.
The Tilly quickly became my favourite dress from The Pretty Dress Company since getting to model other colourways last year. I’m a huge fan of the sass that a off the shoulder style gives, and I think that the bows are the absolute perfect touch!
The Vintage Rose print is a beautiful classic floral, that you can either dress-up like I have in full pinup, or a more simple look with minimal accessories to let the dress speak for itself.
I wear a size 8 in The Pretty Dress Company and the Tilly fits me perfectly. If I was wanting to be really picky, then I could do with a slightly smaller waist, but I do like my dresses to be ultra fitted.
The Tilly Prom Dress is £185 (you WILL see the quality that you are paying for!) and comes in sizes 8 – 18.
Thank you to my partner in crime Elizabeth J Pin Up Photography for another magical set of images – I’m really looking forward to sharing the rest of the outfits from this shoot!
