This post is the final in my Vintage Rose series for The Pretty Dress Company and it also marks the start of a giveaway over on my Instagram – more details on that a little further down.

The Hourglass Swing Dress was *I think* my very first dress from The Pretty Dress Company many years ago! Released in both the Amber and Pink colourways of the Vintage Rose floral print, it’s a beautiful style with a classic silhouette.
This dress has a faux wrap style bust, circle skirt and is fully lined with stretch control lining. I love that the bustline is a flattering ‘V’ shape, but without showing a huge amount of cleavage – sometimes I want to be able to put on a dress and not need to worry about what kind of bra I’m wearing, and this dress means exactly that.
I think this particular style lends itself beautifully to being a versatile wardrobe staple. As much as I love the Tilly (previously reviewed), it’s not exactly a style that can ever look casual, right? However, the Hourglass can be dressed up to the nines like I have in these photos, or simply worn with ballet flats and a chic cardigan for a more day-to-day look.

I’m wearing a size 8, which is my usual size in The Pretty Dress Company, although since there’s stretch to it, I think I could squeeze into a smaller size if there was one! For reference, I am 34″ in the bust, 25″ in the waist and 40″ in the hips.
The Hourglass Vintage Rose Swing Dress is £145 and comes in sizes 8 – 18. Some sizes are sold out, but you can sign up to the waiting list to be notified if there’s a restock.
