I know that the internet can be a bit of a dark place and many attribute it to increasing flaws in civilization… which it totally is. BUT, I for one love the connections that social media can provide, once you get through all the bad stuff that comes with it!
While I like to keep my personal page on Facebook very much private with mostly people that I’ve met in real life/made proper connections with, I have some great ladies that I’ve been friends with from when I first started embracing the vintage lifestyle. Some of them I’ve had the opportunity to meet and some not, but it’s wonderful being able to watch each other grow.
One of these lovely ladies is Elinor from The Nylon Swish. I’ve seen her go from a passionate vintage lingerie blogger to now creating and selling her own line of corsets, stockings (in a fantastic plus range), suspender belts and my personal favourite – luxurious sheer dressing gowns.
I love a glamourous statement robe and have a growing collection so when Elinor offered to send me a complimentary Reyna Gown in Peach, I was so excited – especially since I knew that I would soon be shooting with Gina Barbara Photography in Las Vegas!
The Reyna Gown is the epitome of glamour! The long length creates a subtle train, the bishop sleeves provide oodles of drama and the waist belt cinches in the floaty Georgette fabric to perfection.
The photos from the shoot turned out so beautifully! Gina and I have been trying to get together to shoot for years but Viva can be so hectic. I’m so glad we managed to do it this year as she is one talented lady – if you are attending Viva Las Vegas next year then definitely consider booking in with her!
The Reyna Gown also comes in a Emerald Green and Black with a full range of sizes up to 4XL and is AU$150.
