While the deco period isn’t my favourite era for clothing (the 40s-50s has my heart), I absolutely love the geometric shapes, architecture and furniture that are in the Art Deco style.
So when I was able to choose my top picks from this collections, it’s no surprise to me that I gravitated straight to the symmetrical pieces that to me scream deco. From a practical point, I also find symmetrical shapes more pleasing to me when worn as a brooch – but that’s just my little quirk!
The first piece I chose is the Ancient Egypt Revival Brooch. The incredible deep turquoise marbled resin with gold accents really caught my eye, and I also love the ancient Egyptian symbolism as it’s a subject that has always fascinated me – I actually did a university paper on Ancient Egyptian history when I was 18!

Next up, is my favourite design from the entire collection – The Modernist Motif Brooch and The Modernist Motif Earrings (there’s also a necklace too!).
This design is not only a classic deco inspired design, but I also love it for it’s ease of pairing with outfits! While I love the bright resins that so often grace the Erstwilder pieces, the black and soft champagne gold of the Modernist Motif just seems like it’s going to go with so many colours and patterns!

The final design I’m going to share today is another golden beauty – the Burst of Sun Brooch!
One of my dream home décor items is a sun burst clock… they are absolutely stunning but are highly collectable and cost a fortune! So for now, this cute little brooch can fill in! I love the glitter resin with mirrored gold bursts. This glitzy brooch would be perfect paired with gold accessories and a sparkly dress for a night out!
